When The Lamps Went Out : Suffragettes
The Company wrote, produced and performed “When The Lamps Went Out” in May 2015. It featured the story of the Francis family during WW1 and the events that shaped their lives.
The story was “told” in flashback by Bill Francis on the eve of him leaving the family home in Runcorn Road.
Production was financed with a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and this included provision of the resources below for use and dissemination.
