We contributed to an excitingevent called “Blow Up” at Sandwell Valley as part of their Blast Festival.
It took place among the ruins of Sandwell Priory at a time when Sandwell Hall was there and being used as an Industrial School training children to be servants.
Pupils from two local schools, staff and volunteers posed for a photo there was an explosion intended to represent the break up of the servant system as the First World War approached
